To all nurses in America of Guyanese ancestry
Membership connects you to a network of Guyanese nurses across the United States, and to the scholarship and community work that network makes possible.
Requirements for membership.
- A Guyanese nurse residing in the U.S.A. as an R.N. or L.P.N.
- A nurse who is Guyanese by birth or naturalization.
- A nurse of Guyanese descent.
- Two financial members willing to sponsor the applicant.
- Attendance at two of three scheduled general meetings within a three-month period before installation.
If you do not yet know two members, write to us and we will help you find sponsors.
- General meetings
- The last Sunday of every month at 6:00 PM.
- When that falls on a holiday
- The meeting is held the Sunday before.
- Good standing
- Members are asked to keep their dues up to date.

Fill it in online below, or download the fillable PDF, type into it, and email or mail it back. Either way you will be asked for your contact details, certification and degree, school of training, and two sponsors. A Word version is also available.

Pay your registration and dues
By check, money order, or Zelle to gnaainc@gmail.com. Checks are made payable to The Guyanese Nurses Association of America, Inc.

Send it to the Secretary
Mail the application and fees to P.O. Box 30262, Rugby Station, Brooklyn, New York 11203. The Secretary will confirm receipt and welcome you to the next meeting.
What membership costs.
Registration is paid once, when you join. Dues are paid annually and go directly to the association’s scholarship, education, and community programs.
