Launched in the 1980s, our flagship award recognizes academic achievement and supports students pursuing higher education and nursing careers in the United States.
Distributed across Guyana — in Georgetown, Linden, and Berbice — supporting aspiring nurses at the start of their professional journey.
Guidance for students from middle school through undergraduate study, helping them explore careers in nursing and allied health professions.
Members present and take part in transcultural nursing symposia and Caribbean nursing conferences, sharing research and advancing professional practice.
Scholarships have gone to students from high school to graduate school in the United States, and to nursing students at schools across Guyana — alongside textbooks, computers, and program support for the BSc Nursing program at the University of Guyana.
